Discover the "Trousseau à la Dame" grape varieties (a quality selection) cultivated on our terroir, Les Grands Roussots, with its subsoil of Red Marl, the preferred soil for this indigenous grape variety.
This rare, naturally sweet wine is among the great French dessert wines. The finest grapes are harvested bunch by bunch at the beginning of the harvest from a skillful blend of Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Poulsard.
This cuvée is crafted from a blend of Chardonnay (60%) and Savagnin (40%). The Savagnin grapes require several years of aging in oak barrels in our centuries-old cellars to develop their distinctive character. The Chardonnay is aged in old casks before blending.
Pinot Noir BIO 2023 Dedicated to Pierre, aged in oak barrels
Made in homage to Grandfather Pierre BADOZ, founder of Domaine des Roussots, this emblematic vintage of the Domaine is made from the Pinot Noir grape variety and aged in oak barrels in the centuries-old cellars made of natural stone (underground).
This cuvée is made from Chardonnay grapes from the lieu-dit "Les Roussots" on a terroir of layered grey marl from the Lias period. The grapes used come from the oldest plots.
A Chardonnay from our "Les Roussots" plots (terroir of Lias marls "gray flaky"), vinified in stainless steel tanks, with its indigenous yeasts, in order to best express the minerality and aromatic persistence that characterizes this terroir.
This cuvée comes from a clay-limestone terroir of layered grey marl, which gives the Chardonnay grapes freshness and a beautiful minerality. Fine bubbles and an intense mousse underscore the balance of this charming wine on the palate.
