This cuvée is crafted from a blend of Chardonnay (60%) and Savagnin (40%). The Savagnin grapes require several years of aging in oak barrels in our centuries-old cellars to develop their distinctive character. The Chardonnay is aged in old casks before blending.
Cuvée Victoria Badoz 2020 ORGANIC Savagnin "ouillé"
This cuvée is made from the Savagnin grape variety grown in the "Grands Roussots" terroir. It is aged in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and protected from oxygen in order to extract and encapsulate all the freshness and minerality of the Savagnin.
This cuvée is made from Chardonnay grapes from the lieu-dit "Les Roussots" on a terroir of layered grey marl from the Lias period. The grapes used come from the oldest plots.
A Chardonnay from our "Les Roussots" plots (terroir of Lias marls "gray flaky"), vinified in stainless steel tanks, with its indigenous yeasts, in order to best express the minerality and aromatic persistence that characterizes this terroir.
